Feed My Sheep

King James Daily Bible Study Devotional Message Title: Feed My Sheep Date: Saturday September 10, 2011 Chapters: Ezekiel 33-36, Proverbs 10, Psalm 89:27-52 Click Here to Read Them or Go to: http://imfollowingjesus.com/bible-september-10 Hello My Friend/Guest, “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.” – John 21:15-18. While every person that gets saved is supposed to preach the Gospel to others, that does not always happen, therefore, Jesus appoints certain people to be His ministers, in other words, to feed His sheep. We should count it a blessing that Jesus trusts us with such a privilege. It is important that we who are chosen to be His ministers do our duty. Why? We are the ones who literally have within us that ability to stop a person from ending up in hell. If we stop teaching the Gospel millions of people will be sent to hell without even knowing who Jesus Christ is. When Jesus comes we too have to face judgment, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” – Revelation 22:12. Ever since God created the world He has appointed people to be ministers, these being prophets, priests, and sometimes every day people that He trusted to tell people word for word what He wanted them to know. Most often, His message was to warn the heathens, backsliders, and even His faithful of the dangers ahead and how they can overcome them. God appointed Ezekiel to be a watchman for the Jews, a watchman is a guard. “Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.” – Ezekiel 33:2-7. Today, those who follow Christ are God’s watchmen, we are to warn the people of Christ’s return, whether friend or foe, we are to blow the trumpet, speak the Gospel to everyone we know and cross paths with. We will be responsible for any person who died and went to hell if we had the opportunity to warn them, meaning it will haunt us until the day we die. Upon our judgment, Christ will show us every missed opportunity to feed His sheep. However, if we gave them the warning and they refused to hear it, then we are not at fault, we did our part to tried and warn them. “A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” – Matthew 12:35-37. Let me tell you, when God appoints you to do something He expects it to be done and He will not stop until we do it, no matter how much suffering we go through in the meantime. This is not something new, even those who were here before Jesus came to earth in the flesh face the same judgment. Through Ezekiel, God warns His shepherds of the judgment they faced for not being the leaders they were appointed to be. “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock. The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them…Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.” – Ezekiel 34:2-4,10. This is a message to men of God, preachers of the church; they are the shepherds who watch over Jesus’ sheep, it is their duty to feed His sheep, to care for them, minster to them, and provide the medicine they need to heal them from their sin disease, which is the Gospel. God will expose the truth of every man of God who reaps all the money, power, and fame of being a shepherd, yet refuses to feed His sheep. One day our Good Shepherd will return, until that time comes we need to continue feeding His sheep, whether we are a man of God or a simple layman. “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” -Hebrews 13:20. Jesus has a question for you, “Do you love me?” If you love Him than He has a job for you, “Feed my sheep.” Let me tell you that if you are saved, it means that you love Christ. Let me also say, that following Christ comes with much more than merely being saved from hell. Jesus said, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” – John 15:12-16. Christ blesses us with everything we want and desire simply by feeding His sheep. Today's Prayer: Dear God, Lord, thank You for bringing me Your Son to watch over me, guide me, and most of all die for me. Because Your Son loved me and gave His life for me, I want to show my love back by feeding Your sheep. I am more than a servant, I am a friend and am being conformed everyday into the image of Christ as I follow Him. I am comforted in knowing that I don’t walk alone, but I walk hand in hand with Jesus Christ as my Guide. Give me Your power to endure hardships and affliction to wholeheartedly seek You above everything else, as You are a Rewarder of those who follow Your commands. I love You, Lord, and ask this is Jesus’ name. Amen. God Bless You, I am praying for you, Christina Are You 100% Sure That You Are Going To Heaven? God Comes First

King James Daily Bible Study Devotional Message Title: God Comes First Date: Wednesday September 07, 2011 Chapters: Ezekiel 22-24, Proverb 7, Psalm 87 Click Here to Read Them or Go to: http://imfollowingjesus.com/bible-september-7 Hello My Friend/Guest, “Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:..Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,” - Ephesians 5:6-8,20-26. A relationship with God is like marriage between and husband and wife, it takes commitment, faithfulness, submission, love, and a lot of patience. Just like a husband and wife say vows that join them together as one, when we pray and ask Jesus to save us we say vows that joins us together as one. Now, if your spouse ever committed adultery you would be devastated, you would feel angry, ashamed, and betrayed. Well, this is how God feels whenever we are unfaithful to Him. Now, once you are saved you are always saved, but that does not mean that you will not suffer the consequences for being unfaithful to God. For years Ezekiel was commanded by God to prophesy about the final destruction of Jerusalem. The time of judgment was now set and the destruction of the Holy City would be brought about as the result of their unfaithfulness to God. “Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries. Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed...Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths...In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD. Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee. Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.” - Ezekiel 22:4,5,8,12-14. The blood shed, man made idols, and acts they have committed were all an abomination to God. In addition their destruction will be publicly known and mocked by all the heathen nations. Today, our once godly nations too are being mocked by heathen nations as we continually defile our own with man made idols (e.g. Virgin Mary, Buddha), shed innocent blood, and brought judgment for our unfaithfulness to God. One day every nation will stand before Jesus Christ and attest to their unfaithfulness. “For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.” -James 2:11-13. Ezekiel continues God's message to the unfaithful nations, illustrated by a parable of two adulteress sisters, Aholah and Aholibah. Aholah, which means, her tabernacle, represents Samaria (Israel), these were man made places of worship devised of their own thinking. Aholibah, which means, my tabernacle, represents Jerusalem (Judah), and these were places of worship which God himself had chosen to put His name there. “And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah. And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours, Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses. Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself...And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms. She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men. Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,” - Ezekiel 23:4-7,11-13. No matter how strong we are in our faith, if we get around wickedness long enough we too can become corrupted if we are not keeping our eyes on God. In fact, the more a person allows sin in their life the quicker they lose sight of God. It is important that, as Christians, we dote upon God, He should be the first love of our lives, everything, including our mate, comes second. “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” - Luke 14:26. This does not mean to literally hate everyone around you, it means, no matter who is in your life, your love for God needs to be more than the person or thing you love the most. Every time a person, game, hobby, or even a career is first place over God it becomes the love of their life and something God sees as adultery. We do not have to stop living our lives, but we do need to let God know that He comes first. “Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” - Psalm 37:4. Today's Prayer: Dear God, Lord, we know Your love because You first loved us. You gave Your one and only Son to die for our sins so that we would not perish but spend eternity in heaven with You. As our roots grow down into Your love we gain strength, understanding, and maturity. Though we cannot grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, we can respond in love to You. Just as we rely on the love You have for us, may You find our love consistent and reliable. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen. The Word of Truth

King James Daily Bible Study Devotional Message Title: The Word of Truth Date: Tuesday September 06, 2011 Chapters: Ezekiel 20-21, Proverb 6, Psalm 86 Click Here to Read Them or Go to: http://imfollowingjesus.com/bible-september-6 Hello My Friend/Guest, “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures. Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:..But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” - James 1:13-19,25. God reminds His people continuously to cast away any sin that keeps them in needless pain and suffering, yet they will remain in their sinful lives, often questioning why they are having such a hard time in life. Usually, the first person they blame is God, then they start blaming others as though it was their fault that they did what they did. I admit there are many people out there ready and willing to entice a person and bring them down to their level, but it is not their fault if we give in and suffer the consequences for committing the sin. We have a choice to say yes or no, trust me, it is much better to deal with the consequences of saying no to that person than with God. “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” - II Timothy 2:15. The truth is this, those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior are children of the living God, chosen by God Himself, we are saved by His grace through the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us. We are going to suffer some affliction from time to time because Satan is always on our backs, but we have the Word of Truth in us, therefore, we are to be the example. We are to walk in His truths, be the doers of His word and not just the hearers. God will bless us, help us endure every temptation, and protect us as long as we look to Jesus. “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” - Jude 1:21. On three occasions the elders of the Jews went to Ezekiel to ask questions of God (Chapters 8, 14, 20). On the first occasion, Ezekiel exposed their idolatry and foretold Jerusalem's destruction because of it. On the second occasion, Ezekiel exposed their halfheartedness, the elders were not sincere and had no desire to do His will. Now, this time, Ezekiel exposes their, rebellion, they continued to walk in the abominable acts of their fathers.. “Son of man, speak unto the elders of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Are ye come to enquire of me? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you...And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up mine hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up mine hand unto them, saying, I am the LORD your God;..But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them...Nevertheless mine eye spared them from destroying them, neither did I make an end of them in the wilderness...Therefore, son of man, speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed me, in that they have committed a trespass against me. For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.” - Ezekiel 20:3,5,13,17,27,28. I imagine the thing that God despises most is a halfhearted Christian, one that only comes to Him when they are in trouble. Then after He bails them out they go right back to their sinful lives. God loves us and always forgives, but we can not serve God and mammon, it never ends well. And while we might not always agree with God, it is one thing to ask questions and another to question His judgment or decisions. God knows what we need and what is best for us, the commands He gives us, the trials we face, and even the chastening we go through are all to get us to be doers of the Word of Truth and keep us from needless suffering. “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” - Revelation 3:15,16. Israel did not just volunteer to be God's people, they were chosen by Him personally. That alone should have been a blessing to them, but that fact never seemed to grasp their attention. God let it be known to them while they were in Egypt, that He was their God, loved them, even when they rebelled against them, and would be there for them if they would just repent. However, time and time again they continued to rebel, thus God's judgment, through Ezekiel God continues to expose Israels rebellion, this time He reveals a prophesy. “Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel, And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more. Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.” - Ezekiel 21:2-7. It is declared that the Lord was about to cut off Jerusalem and the whole land, that all might know it was His decree against a wicked and rebellious people. Whatever instruments God uses in executing His judgments, He will strengthen them according to the service they are employed in. God's sword will be none other than His Word, in fact, all He will do is speak His Word and justice will be done. “And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.” - Revelation 1:16-18. We are chosen by Christ Himself to not only be witnesses, but and example to follow in order to show the world God's great grace. Because we are chosen we are going to suffer as Jesus did, but we should count all suffering as blessings. Hold on to God's grace, never let it go, He has plenty to give those who are willing to receive it. “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” - I Peter 1:13-16. Today's Prayer: Dear God, Lord, we are reminded that Your Word does not return void, but accomplishes that which You desire. It is a lamp unto my feet and a light for my path. Your Word is divinely inspired and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that I can become the godly example You chose me to be. I am grateful for the guidance I receive daily through faithfully reading and applying Scripture to my live. I love You, Lord, I love Your Word and I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Right Hand or Left Hand Living

King James Daily Bible Study Devotional Message Title: Right Hand or Left Hand Living Date: Monday September 05, 2011 Chapters: Ezekiel 17-19, Proverb 5, Psalm 85 Click Here to Read Them or Go to: http://imfollowingjesus.com/bible-september-5 Hello My Friend/Guest, “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:..Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?..And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:..Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” - Matthew 25:31-34,37,40,41,44-46. There are people who live in the world who are honestly good people, they are quick to help those in need, try to do right thing, believe in God, and even go to church once in a while. However, there is one big difference, they do not have Jesus in their lives. We will all stand before Jesus one day, we will all be separated, not good from bad, but saved from unsaved. Those who are saved, who have asked Jesus to save them, will go to the right and receive eternal life and be sent to heaven, those who are not saved, will go to left and receive eternal death and be cast into hell. This is where a lot of people have a hard time following God, they can not understand how God can send a good person to hell when they have done nothing wrong. The truth is, we have all done something wrong at one point in our lives and because of that wrong, whether we feel we deserve it or not, God says the punishment for that wrong is eternal death. Through Ezekiel, God explains why the wicked can be saved and the righteous can end up in hell. “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die...But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,..Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD...The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die...When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.” - Ezekiel 18:4,5,9,20,21,26. Here are the facts, sin is any wrongdoing that we have ever done from the time we were born, we are accountable for sin the second we realize we can get away with something. Sin is sin in God's eyes, whether a person has killed someone or lied to someone it is still sin to God and the same judgment is passed on to all of us. Works of righteousness can not save us because we never cease from sin, somehow we commit a form of sin every day, it's just not always known to us because we are unaware that it is sin. That is why we need to daily seek God's forgiveness of our sins, knowingly or unknowingly. The only way to be saved from this punishment is to know the Savior personally. “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” - Titus 3:5-7. God gives us commands so we can live the best life we can live here on earth and not have to suffer too much, it is sad that so many people think that His laws are unjust and cruel, but that is not the case at all. While we are not subject to many of the laws of Moses they do hold some merit because it is things that we should be doing anyway. What is wrong with having a little discipline in our lives, to live a moral life that does not defile our bodies or anyone else's? We are children of God, He lives inside of every believer, yet, day after day many chose to defile the very soul that was given eternal life. God does not want to see anyone one His souls living immoral and corrupt lives, He most certainly does not want to see any soul end up in hell. Through Ezekiel, God explains this further. “Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die. Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal? Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” - Ezekiel 18:27-32. A soul with out Jesus Christ is a dead soul, it has no life to it, it wanders around looking for life, but can not find it. A soul that has Jesus Christ is a living soul, it has life to it, but it too can wander, looking for life, but can not find it. Until a person submits themselves solely to Jesus Christ they will continue to wander aimlessly as though their soul is dead. “Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.” - Romans 6:9-12. Those of you who are saved, yet feel dead inside, you are alive, start acting like it! You are a sinner saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, He lives in you, start rejoicing over that! You do not have to be where you are, you are already forgiven, just go to God, repent, meaning make an effort to change your ways and mean it, and He will help you. There is no pleasure in living a worldly life, there is pleasure in living a godly, faith filled, life. “Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,..If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame...But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.” - Hebrews 6:1,6,9. Today's Prayer: Dear God, I know that I have done some wrong in my life, but thanks to Your mercy, grace, and Your sending Your Son to die for me that wrong is now erased from my soul because I trust and believe in Jesus Christ. God, forgive me for subjecting my mind, body, and living soul to things that are shameful to You. I know that You want me to live a moral life, whether it is sins I have committed by thought, mouth, or deed. Lead me and guide me, show me the path to take that leads me to the godly, Christ filled, joyful life that brings life not only to my soul, but mind, spirit, and body too. I love You, Lord and ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen. God Bless You, I am praying for you, Christina Are You 100% Sure That You Are Going To Heaven?
