Just Breathe And Give It To Jesus

Message: Just Breathe And Give It To Jesus

Hello My Friend,

There are times in our lives when we are so overwhelmed with life that we feel like we are suffocating, other times even though those same things overwhelm us, we feel we at ease. What is the difference? Our heart. Since our heart is the center of everything we do if often plays an impact on how we handle the circumstances in our lives. We can be at ease no matter how our heart feels, just breathe and let Jesus take care of it. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” - John 14:27.

Did you ever have an anxiety attack? Your heart races, you can barely breathe, your flesh feels like it is being pushed down your body, you literally feel like you are having a heart attack. You do not even have to be anxious for an attack to occur, but when it does it is sudden. A heavy heart, one that feels like nothing will change, often contributes to these attacks. David wrote many Psalms when he was being chased by Saul, he wrote Psalm 54 when the Ziphims, men of Judah (David’s tribe), betrayed him by informing Saul where he was and putting him in a way how to seize him. Although his heart was heavy, he knew God was with him. “Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth. I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good. For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.” - Psalms 54:4-7.

the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.” A heavy heart takes a toll on our mind, body, spirit, and soul, while we may be saved, the things that oppress us can literally take the life out of our soul. God is our help to reignite His Spirit that dwells in us after we are saved, if we hand it all over to Him, He will take care of our problems for us. “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” - I Peter 5:6,7.

While the devil cannot take a saved soul, he can sure do a number on it when he fills its heart full of fear. We cannot ignore the issues, we cannot run away from them, and we cannot handle them on our own, it takes the strength of God to help us overcome every obstacle. David wrote Psalm 55 during the time he was being chased by his own son. “Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me. And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest. Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah. For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them. As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.” - Psalms 55:5-7,12-16.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me;” Quite often, it is not the enemy that brings the most pain in our lives, it is friends and loved ones. And let me tell you, the devil will use anyone to get us to turn away from God, but if we trust God, and call upon Him He will give us the strength and wisdom to overcome any situation. I will tell you that before I dedicated my life to Christ I was in a horrible relationship, God was my strength to not only get out of it, but turn my life around before something worse happened. Trust God, hand it all over to Him, and He will change our heart, and literally give life to our soul.

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?” - Psalms 56:3-6,11-13.

Thy vows are upon me,” You know, God makes a vow with us the second we accept His Son as our Saviour, He promises to never leave nor forsake us. Are we going to mess up after we are saved? Yes. Are we going to have heavy hearts after we are saved? Yes. Are we going to make wrong decisions because we have heavy hearts? Yes. Will God help us through every trial, tribulation, and circumstance, even if we are the cause if them? Yes. God loves us, and while we mat not understand why we go through so many things in our lifetime, we can understand that God is always with us and will see us through all of them if we just breathe and hand it all over to Him.

I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me. He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth. My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth. They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah. My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.” - Psalm 57:2-7.

unto God that performeth all things for me.” Let me tell you, I have gotten myself into more trouble making bad decisions based on what I felt in my heart than I can count. Do you know who my help is and sees me through every decision I make, good or bad? Jesus. We do not have to try to fix our problems ourselves, hand them over to Jesus, and let Him fix them for us. Of course, He does not want us to just sit there and do nothing, He wants us to live, He wants us to breathe, He wants us to be at peace through Him as we allow Him to guide us. There truly is great comfort in giving everything over to Jesus, if we have guilt, He will give us forgiveness. If we have sadness, He will give us happiness, if we have loneliness, He will give us companionship, if we have grief, He will give us healing, if we have sorrow, He will give us great joy. The only way you can find peace in your heart is to just breathe, give it over to Jesus, trust Him, and let Him mend it.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” - John 14:1-4,12-14.

Jesus Christ Magnified: Today, Jesus is magnified through the LORD, whom we call upon and are saved (55:16) Jesus saves all who call up Him. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” - Romans 10:13.

Today's Prayer: Jesus, Thank You for the strength you have given me to endure all my trials and tribulations, there is not one thing that I have not been through that You have not helped me overcome. Some days my heart is so heavy that it takes every bit of energy I have to breathe, I know this is because I try to take care of my troubles myself. Lord, I have trusted You for my salvation, for my provisions, my protection, and my life, I must trust You through all my circumstances too because I know what You have already done in my life. Lead me and guide me, help my unbelief, teach me to breathe when I get anxious, sad, mad, lonely, and overwhelmed with life. I know I can do all things through You, I am trusting You to carry me through, to mend my heart, and give me peace. In Your name, Jesus, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

One People Under God

KJB Daily DevotionFollowing Jesus Through Every Chapter
Date: Thursday, June 16, 2016
Chapters: Psalms 48-53
Message: One People Under God

Hello My Friend,

There is not a day that goes by that we do not hear of some terror attack around the world. In fact, just this year there were 1055 Islamic terror attacks in 47 countries, including Israel, Paris, America, and Egypt. So far, 9989 people were killed and 12031 injured. Our leaders want us to think that all these horrible things are just some deranged people acting out, but it is much bigger than that, this is an attack on God’s people. And let me tell you, nations have turned their backs on God and as long as they continue, the attacks will continue. “
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” - Isaiah 1:15-19.

put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes;I know this is a hard thing to talk about because hearts are grieving, but we cannot ignore it. Until we come in unity, and put away the evil, God cannot protect us. The more people that stand up for what is right, the more our nations will be protected. Like, Israel was judged for allowing evil in their nation, we are being judged as a nation, but this is not the time to hate God, it is a time to embrace Him. We have thought of thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. According to thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of thy judgments. Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.” - Psalms 48:9-14.

that ye may tell it to the generation following.” If you ever wondered why our nations have turned into such godless nations it is because generations have not been telling of the one true God. In a land that allows us to choose which religion we follow we have gotten away from why it was founded to begin with, to worship God His way, not mans. Bulwark, A fortress, That which secures against an enemy or external annoyance. God protects every nation that worships Him according to His Word, and as long as they do, they cannot be attacked. Sadly, Christians have fallen on the wayside, not necessarily living sinful lives, but failing to tell the next generation about Jesus. We have allowed sinful behavior to not only be exalted in the world, but creep in the church, and as a result lost the protection that God had around us, but there is always hope until Jesus returns. If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them. And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.” - Jeremiah 18:8-10.

This is not about a religion, a lifestyle, or a race, this is a life, and Jesus died to save every life.
Yet, every day hundreds of people die, and sadly their soul ends up in hell because they never knew Jesus. Psalm 49 was written to all people. “To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world: Both low and high, rich and poor, together. They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him: (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:) That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption. Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.” - Psalms 49:1,2,6-9,14,15.

But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave:” Jesus is the only one who can redeem our soul, the one to give us power from the grave. In this wicked and corrupt world our lives are in danger everywhere we go, but we can be protected, we can know that if something tragic should happen to our body, our soul will be safe with Jesus. “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” - I John 5:12,13.

Right now there are a bunch of people out there placing judgment on people fopr their lifestyles because of these tragic events. We must understand that God’s judgment upon a nation is not the same as what He does with each individual. The last thing we need to do is go around screaming that if you do not repent of your lifestyle you will go to hell. God does not work that way, these people do not know what they are doing is wrong, they need to know that God loves them, and wants to help them. Everyone of us is with sin, therefore, we are to judge no one for theirs. Use this time to point the lost to the Saviour, not point out their sin. Psalm 51 was written by David after he sinned by committing adultery, he realizes what God really wanted from him.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.” - Psalms 51:5-7,16-18.

and in sin did my mother conceive me.” This does not mean that David was conceived out of wedlock, it is referring to the sin nature that all of us are born into from Adam and Eve. By nature we are prone to sin, it is just something that comes naturally to us. Ever watch a baby? You learn quick without even realizing we are all born into sin. This is why Mary was conceived of the Holy Spirit, not through normal conception, had Jesus been conceived as the rest of us, He too would have been born into sin. Jesus was able to be born without sin, and live without sin so He can take all of our sins to the cross with Him, praise Jesus. What does God desire more than a sacrifice, than an offering? “a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart,” It often takes a broken spirit and a broken and bruised heart for us to seek God, and when we seek God we find Jesus. Rich, poor, black, white, we all have sinned, and God does not want anyone to die and end up in hell. Jesus died for all, and will save all who come to Him. It is after we are saved and learn of God’s ways that we understand and turn away from our sins. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” - John 3:16-18.

Jesus Christ Revealed: Today, Jesus is revealed as the one who redeems from the power of the grave. He gives eternal life to every soul who believes in and receives Him. “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” - Romans 3:24.

Today's Prayer: God, It is time for all Christians to come together as one to put Your hedge of protection around our nations. Let us boldly proclaim Christ, not with harsh words, but with love and compassion on the lost. Let us use these times of grieving to show the world what Jesus has done for them, and let us be reminded of how merciful and graceful You are to all of us. Lord, lead us and guide us, let us be the light in the midst of this dark world, no matter what nation we live in, let us all stand in unity to give hope to all those who are hurt and grieving right now. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

More Than A Sacrifice

KJB Daily DevotionFollowing Jesus Through Every Chapter
Date: Tuesday, June 14, 2016
Chapters: Psalms 38-42
Message: More Than A Sacrifice

Hello My Friend,

When I heard the devastating news that forty-nine people were dead when a guy went on a shooting rampage, I could not help, but wonder if any of them were saved. It is tragedies like these that remind us that life can end in an instant, Jesus loves all of us, regardless of our sin, He died a sinless death so that we could live. I imagine He cries every time a person dies that has not received Him, if they just trusted Him they would be with Him right now. When we trust the Saviour, He blesses us with more than salvation from hell, He blesses us with a new life. “Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” - Psalms 40:4,5.

David wrote this Psalm to remind himself that God is still merciful even when we mess up. Sin is destructive, people die in their sins every day, but do not realize what they are doing. When we belong to God, the guilt of sin carries a big burden, and while we should repent of our sins, it is good to be reminded that God is still faithful and merciful. “A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O LORD, rebuke me not in thy wrath: neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand presseth me sore. There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God. For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin. But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied. They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.” - Psalms 38:1-4,15, 18-20.

as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.” Sometimes we carry this burden around with us that never quite goes away, perhaps something we did in the past. Guilt from sin is harder to overcome than sin itself, but we must understand that when we confess our sins, Jesus carries that burden for us. There is nothing more comforting to take our cares to Jesus, He loves us, He died for us so we do not have to suffer in our sins, all we have to do to free ourselves from the guilt of sin is confess them, and get under His wing. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” - I John 1:9.

The tongue. There is nothing more destructive than the tongue, especially if we are dwelling on something that happened to us long ago. It is easy to speak harsh words to those in our presence when we are holding on to something of the past. David wrote this Psalm to keep himself from sinning with his tongue. “To the chief Musician, even to Jeduthun, A Psalm of David. I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me. I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred. My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue, LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am. Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.” - Psalms 39:1-5.

while I was musing the fire burned:” Musing, meditating. Sometimes our mouths commit more sin than we do with our actions. I swear my mouth always gets the best of me when I am irritated, which is when I find myself thinking of the things in my past. I have this habit of comparing those in my past with those in my future, just sure that this person is like the one who caused me such pain. When I focus on Jesus, He removes the irritation and helps me think good things before I speak. While the tongue can be destructive, it can also be helpful, there is nothing more comforting than to speak words of encouragement to those who need it. “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” - I Corinthians 2:12,13.

To make haste means to hurry, the second we go to God in prayer, whether it is to seek forgiveness of sins, a need, or a healing, God gets right on it. Now, it may seem as though He is not doing anything, but part of getting things right with God is having patience to endure the affliction as He is working. David knew this and while he did not always understand why he had to wait so long, he did understand that God had done some wonderful things in his life.

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest. I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation. Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.” - Psalms 40:6-13.

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire;” This is an amazing reminder that while God knows we are sinners, more important than a sacrifice is trusting Him, taking all our burdens to Him, confessing our sin. You know, for those who do not know Jesus Christ, their book of life has thousands of sins written down, the first one being that they never received Him. For those who do know Him, they have no sin in their book, it is wiped clean, what is in it is all the things we did as ministers of God, and that is what we will be rewarded on, not our sin. “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” - Revelation 22:12.

Do you think David did not get a little down at times? The Psalms prove otherwise. For about 10 years he remained in exile, constantly on the move from Saul who was trying to kill him. One thing David learned was that he must continually praise and glorify God, even through his affliction. “O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar. Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life. I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” - Psalms 42:6-11.

hope thou in God:” No matter what we are going through, whether it is something we did to ourselves or for no reason at all, God is our hope, and He will see us through. Sometimes it may seem as though God is a million miles away, but He is right with us. We just need to awaken His Spirit by renewing ours. How? Sing praises to God and get in His Word. We will find hope and healing when we get to God in the way that He wants us to. “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.” - Romans 15:4,13.

Jesus Christ Revealed: Today, Jesus is revealed through the rock of David. Jesus is the only Rock upon which we stand that saves a hell bound soul.

Today's Prayer: God, Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus to take our place on the cross, to give us a way to be cleansed and free from the guilt and destruction of our sins. You could have chosen any other way to redeem us and let us become one of yours, but You gave Your flesh so that we can live forever with You. Lord, I want to live a life that is pleasing to you, I know I am going to mess up, but more than a sacrifice You want my trust, my faith, my love in return, so that when I do mess up I know I am a forgiven child of Yours and nothing can change that. Lead me and guide me, let me be an example and encouragement to others, and let me not pass up anyone who needs to know Your Son. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

Rest In The Lord’s Salvation

KJB Daily DevotionFollowing Jesus Through Every Chapter
Date: Monday, June 13, 2016
Chapters: Psalms 35-37
Message: Rest In The Lord’s Salvation

Hello My Friend,

As you may all know by now, America was attacked by an Islamic terrorist yesterday, while all of these stories are sad, this is a little closer to my heart because I live within miles from the place that fifty people lost their lives in an instant, and that number could climb. When I first heard about this, I will admit the first thing I thought was why did it have to be a gay club because the media it going to eat it up as a hate crime, and they are. No matter how plain it is in their face, they still want to portray this as an attack on gay people. Let me tell you, the devil is good at making this into something that will divide the people. The truth is, this is a war, a spiritual war between good and evil. With one nation after another being attacked, there is no better time than to be safe in the arms of Jesus. “Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.” - Psalms 37:7-9.

For evildoers shall be cut off:” The people who commit these horrible acts are pure evil, they are not trying to rid the world of the infidels (unbelievers of God), they are extremest possessed by the devil, and they will be cut off. This man did not see God and his fifty virgins he was led to believe would happen by doing this, he saw a fiery burning hell and is being tormented right now. Psalm 35 is an urgent plea from David to place judgment on those who were out to destroy his soul. “A Psalm of David. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.” - Psalms 35:1-4,9.

put to shame that seek after my soul:” There is only one person who can destroy the soul and that is the devil, and he will use anyone to get us to go against God. Our only hope is Jesus Christ, when we rest in His salvation we will not hear what man can do because we belong to Him. “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” - Matthew 10:28-33.

All this evil is not limited to people we do not know, we all have people in our lives that do evil things, he will often use family or friends as well. The devil hates a person who loves God with all their heart, mind, and soul, while he cannot take a saved soul, he will do anything to get them to stop trusting God. When we rest in the Lord’s salvation, He is our strength to overcome anyone the devil uses against us. “A Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.” - Psalms 37:1-6.

Delight thyself also in the LORD;” We are to never waste a minute worrying about the wicked, but look forward with eyes of faith, trusting that God will take care of us because we do rest in His salvation. Those who make God their heart’s delight will have their heart’s desire and will be fully satisfied in Him. “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” - John 15:7,8.

The best thing we can do to overcome evil is work on our relationship with God. We need not worry about them because God will handle them, if we seek the things of God He will show us how to overcome all of our troubles.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.” - Psalms 37:23-28.

yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken,” When we receive the Lord, Jesus Christ as our Saviour, He promises to never leave nor forsake us. Yes, we will mess up being saved, but we are preserved, saved, rested in Christ. “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38,39.

Jesus Christ Revealed: Today, Jesus is revealed through the angel of the Lord, and the fountain of life. Jesus is the fountain of life. “And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” - Revelation 21:6.

Today's Prayer: God, It never ceases to amaze me that the only reason I am going to heaven is because I believe in Your Son. I do not have to even serve You to be saved from hell because I know the price of my sins have already been bought and paid for when Jesus died, was buried, and arose for me. I serve You today, not because I have to, but because I want to please You. Lord, be with those who’s lives have been afflicted and affected by this recent attack, may this be a time to bring others to Your Son, and not for more hate. Protect Your children, keep us faithful and resting in Your salvation. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
