Title: The Right Ingredients
Ingredients, if is important to have the right ingredients if we want a perfect product. for instance, when making a sugar cookies you need flour, oil, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and water, leave one out and they do not come out very good, but combined create the perfect cookie. Just as it is important to have the right ingredients in a recipe, As Christian's, we too need the right ingredients to have the perfect Christian life. Of course, once in a while we get new ingredients to change up the recipe, but in order for us to have a right relationship with God we need to use all of the ingredients. When the Israelite's were building the Tabernacle, they had to it ti the exact specification that God gave them, “And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his taches, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets, And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering, The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat, The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread, The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light, And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door, The brasen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot, The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation, The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office. According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work. And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.” - Exodus 39:33-43. I am sure that it was not easy getting the candlestick to be in the exact shape right away, but he had to work at it to get it right. Every detail in the Tabernacle had to be completed the way God commanded or the Israelite's would have not been able communicate with God.

At times in our lives it seems that we can not communicate with God, we talk and pray, and read, and literally become exhausted over trying to do the will of God. It seems that we are missing an ingredient somewhere. So, we think if we do one more thing for Him He is going to change things for us, but in reality if we are not doing it from the heart nothing will change. So, there is an ingredient missing, and that is your heart. You see, doing the will of God can become so routine that we become like robots, therefore we lose our communication with God. So, it is important that we get our heart right with Him first. Of course we love God and have faith in Him, but we just have no strength left to conquer the obstacles that we are facing. Instead of trying to do all these things for God we need to get our heart right with Him first. “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:4-7. God is with us and understands what is going on, but in order for us to have our hearts right with God we need to tell Him how we feel. Tell Him that you are weak, weary, and exhausted. He will lift you up and your heart, giving you that specific ingredient needed to be able to communicate again with God. I will tell you that for the past three weeks I have been struggling with this, it has been so hard that all I wanted to do was sleep. I knew God was at work in me somewhere in all this and when I finally went to Him and said, I need to get my heart right with Him, things began to change. You see, we might not be perfect Christian's, but we have the perfect Christian life as long as we have all the ingredients. Praise God! That He sent Jesus because He is the one and only perfect ingredient that even gets us in the door to the Tabernacle (God's dwelling place) in the first place.

Enjoy the rest of your day/night and God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
