Details of Today's Chapters: The triumphs of the coming Kingdom age, and worship and testimony of a restored and converted Israel in the Kingdom age.

Hello My Friend/Guest,

“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” - II Thessalonians 1:6-10.

We can not by all our sufferings, any more than by our services, merit heaven, but by our patience under sufferings, we are prepared for the promised joy that is to come. God will trouble those that trouble His people, He will give them rest from tribulation, sin, and sorrow. The Lord Jesus will in that day appear from heaven, He will come in all the glory and power of the upper world. His light will be piercing, and His power consuming to all who do not believe or have not put their faith and trust in Him to save them.

Isaiah's prophecy was first directed to Judah, then Israel, then to the surrounding Gentile nations, and finally to all the world. Just as surely as many of the prophecies were fulfilled in ancient history, we can also expect that the Messiah, Jesus Christ will return in all His glory as King of all. It is a bit scary to see the many prophecies of the “sign of the times” taking place, but those who know Christ as their Savior have nothing to worry about because they are God's people. Through Isaiah God foretells this wonderful Kingdom age

“And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.” - Isaiah 25:6-9.

Jesus Christ is the only One who can save us, we can not escape tribulation, but those who have accepted Him into their lives have already swallowed up death in victory. Christ did it for us and one day because we have trusted Him for our salvation we will no longer have to suffer anymore. “He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:7,8.

In that day, the Gospel day, which the day of the victories and enlargements of the Old Testament church was typical, there shall be a new song sung, it shall be sung in the land of Judah, which was a figure of the Gospel church, for the Gospel covenant is said to be made within the house of Judah. Glorious things are said of the new church of God.

“In that day shall this song be sung in the land of Judah; We have a strong city; salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks. Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength: For he bringeth down them that dwell on high; the lofty city, he layeth it low; he layeth it low, even to the ground; he bringeth it even to the dust.” - Isaiah 26:2-5.

The unchangeable promise and covenant of the Lord Jesus Christ are the walls of the church of God. The gates of this city shall be open. Let sinners then be encouraged to trust in the Lord before it is too late. Trust in the Lord for that peace, that portion, which will be for ever. Whatever we trust the world for, it will last only for a moment, but those who trust Christ not only find in Him, but shall receive from Him and strength that will carry them to that blessedness which is for ever. Let us then acknowledge Him in all our ways, and rely on Him through all our trials.

Most people in the world believe that when you die you die, it's all over, but that is not the case, you see, the body is made up of flesh, soul, and spirit. The spirit is what gives life to the flesh, this is a temporal spirit, when the flesh dies the soul has no where to go except for one of two places for eternity, heaven or hell. Only if the soul has Christ in it will the soul be saved from death, which is known as the second death. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever...And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” - Revelation 20:10,14,15.

No one has to spend eternity in hell, no one has to be tormented forever, no one has to endure this second death, but the only way one can is through Jesus Christ. Only He can save you! “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” - I John 5:10-13.

It is not enough to believe in the Savior, many believe in Him and are in hell right now, you must ask Him to save you, otherwise believing will only be in vain. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” - Romans 10:9,10.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
