Hello My Friend/Guest,
Did you ever have to try and explain something to a person who speaks a foreign language? It can be very hard and frustrating for both of you. I am jealous of people who are bilingual or multilingual, I know bits and pieces of Spanish and Italian, but not enough to have a decent conversation with them. I love the new translators out there now that can translate an entire website in several languages, it sure makes my job a lot easier when it comes to teaching the Gospel. Praise God! He makes it easy for all to understand the Gospel. “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” - I John 5:20.

God makes it simple for us, if we want Him in our lives we just need to believe in His Son. You can be the most famous evangelist there is that speaks ten different languages, but unless you believe in His Son (the death, burial, and resurrection) than it is all in vain or worthless. Paul addresses this in his letter to the Corinthians. “Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort. He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. I would that ye all spake with tongues but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.” - I Corinthians 14:1-5.

Speaking in tongues is just another way of saying speaking in a foreign language. God would rather have us prophecy or teach the Gospel in one language than several. Why? Here is the answer. “Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad? But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.”-I Corinthians 14:22-25.

Believe it or not, but you are a prophet and a saint, you know the mystery of the Son of God. You have the power to break a person from the chains of sin that Satan has them captive to. One on one, you can make a difference to someone who speaks your language. However, if you tried to speak in your language to someone who speaks another it would be impossible to make a difference. That is why God brings people of several languages in one church, while there is a predominant language for all to understand the basics there are those who speak secondary languages to translate the hard stuff to. God does not want to confuse anyone, He wants all to know how to be saved. “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” - I Corinthians 14:33.

Did you ever wonder why there are so many different languages in the first place? The answer goes back to the beginning of the Bible. At one time everyone spoke one language, but when the corrupted people began to cause the godly people to be corrupted God decided that it was not good for everyone to know what everyone was saying. “And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.” - Genesis 11:6,7. Incidentally, when God said, let us go down, He was referring to none other than Jesus and the Holy Spirit. While they are all One God, they are three different persons, therefore, God addresses all three.

Sadly, there are many religions out there that preach a false Gospel, they believe in Jesus and that He died to save us, but they do not believe that He resurrected. Paul addresses those who are speaking this false doctrine. “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” - I Corinthians 15:1-4.

Doubting Christs' resurrection is all a ploy from Satan to get people doubting that there is life after death. He gets people thinking that once they die its all over, but the truth is, it is not over, once the flesh gives out the soul has to go somewhere, it just does not disappear or stay suspended in the air, there is only one of two places it will go, heaven or hell. “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” - Revelation 20:14,15. This is confirmed by Paul, “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all...The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” -I Corinthians 15:26-28,56-58.

Death is Satan, he is going to be destroyed one day, so, he along with the antichrist, false prophets, and anyone who has not called on Christ to save them will be cast into the lake of fire. Paul encourages us to keep prophesying, many will reject it, but at least you tried. Paul gives one final warning to those that reject the Gospel. “If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.” - I Corinthians 16:22. The word Anathema means a person that is accursed to damnation (hell). The word Maranatha means our Lord is coming. What Paul is saying is that, Our Lord is coming, and he will judge those who have rejected Him. He will judge everyone, anyone who has not accepted Him as their Savior will be cast into the fire as well. It's simple, ask Him to save you and you are saved. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” -Romans 10:9,10.

Be blessed, enjoy the rest of your day/night and weekend.
God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
