Hello My Friend/Guest,

Happy New Year! The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” - John 1:1-3. God created everything, everything that is made by man is made from something God created, whether it is wood, plastic, metal, or fluid, all things are made from something that God created.

The Book of Genesis is the first book of the Old Testament, contains fifty chapters, and the time line is approximately between 4004 – 1689 BC. The author of the book was Moses and it was first written to the people of Israel. The purpose of the book was to preserve the historical background of Israel and the record of creation, sin, redemption, and God's first dealings with man. What we are to learn from the book is that God is the creator of all things, and that His plan from the beginning included all nations, not just Israel. “And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” - Genesis 1:25,26.

God created heaven, earth and everything on them in six days, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters...And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” - Genesis 1:1,2,28-31.

So many people try to claim that God did not create the earth and everything on it in six days, but the truth is He did, six twenty-four hour days. “Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.” - John 11:9,10. That makes the earth approximately 6015 years old, not the six billion plus like scientist claim. How can we know? There is no proven records showing that there was life on earth anytime before that, the ice age, the dinosaur age, and even so called cavemen days were all within the 6000 year span. All those machines used to calculate the age of the earth, dinosaurs, etc, are doctored to make the scientist look as though they know what they are talking about. “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” -Romans 1:21-23.

Every person, every animal, and every plant, is unique and created in it's own image, that means that it can in no way resemble or be made from one another. It is the ignorance and corruptible imaginations of so called wise men that try to convince the world that they came from some animal or plant. Now, God did form man out of earth, but He formed us in His own image and made us a living soul. “These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,..And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” - Genesis 2:4,7.

God breathed into the nostrils of a lifeless piece of clay and in an instant life was given to man, but it did not take long before that life was taken away from him, the life of the soul that is. Even in paradise the devil wormed his way into separating God from His people and life to our souls. “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.” - Genesis 3:4-8

One simple act of disobedience caused a division between God and man and a death sentence upon every living soul, the only way now to avoid that sentence and be reconciled with man was to send a Redeemer. “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” - Genesis 3:14,15. Satan did not reveal himself to Eve as the enemy of God nor a wicked deceiver with the intent on destroying every enjoyment of mankind. His intent was, and still is, to prevent man from obeying God.

War is proclaimed between the Seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. It is the fruit of this enmity, that there is a continual warfare between grace and corruption, in the hearts of God's people. A gracious promise is made of Christ, as the Deliverer of fallen man from the power of Satan. It speaks great encouragement to sinners, that their Savior is the Seed of the woman, His sufferings and death point to Satan's bruising His heel, but by His death He gave a fatal blow to the devil's kingdom, a wound to the head of this serpent that cannot be healed. As the Gospel gains, Satan falls. “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;” -Ephesians 2:13-15. Praise God!

Jesus Christ Revealed: In Chapter 1 as the Creator, “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” - Colossians 1:17. And in Chapter 3 as the Seed of the woman, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,” - Galatians 4:4.

God Bless You, I am praying for you, have a blessed 2011.
Christina
