Details of Today's Chapters: God's message to Zedekiah, the King that would reign to execute judgment upon the earth, the future restoration and conversion of Israel, a message against the faithless shepherds, and good and bad figs.

Hello My Friend/Guest,

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city...For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” - Revelation 22:11-14,18-20.

You have no idea how heated the debates are about the different versions of the Bible, the KJV, NIV, TNIV, AV, the list goes on and on, in fact, every time you turn around a new version has been published. Now, we have Christians arguing that their version is just as good as the others, proclaiming that they want no part of whatever religion they are apart of because they are not Christlike. Can I tell you what is Christlike? Christlike is living by every Word of God. “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” - Proverb 30:5,6.

People have been adding to and taking from God's Word for centuries, the same fate still applied to them as it does to us, God gave us His Word so that we can live a happy, prosperous, righteous life with Him in it, not to pick and choose what we believe Him to be. Think about it, how do you feel when someone says that you said something you did not say? Imagine how God feels when people say that He said something when He did not? He is our Father, our Creator, not some mythological something made up by the imagination of a hardened heart. “Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” - Romans 12:1,2.

God sent Jeremiah to the king of Judah to give him one last warning to repent before he was carried off to Babylon. “Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place. For if ye do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people. But if ye will not hear these words, I swear by myself, saith the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation...And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this great city? Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.” - Jeremiah 22:3-5,8,9.

So many people think that living by every Word of God is too hard, oh, they want God in their lives, but only certain parts of it. Think about it, most of us have some good in us and try to do the right things. So, when God says do no wrong or violence how hard is that? It's nor, but this is where it gets hard, we all have a little rebellion in us, no one likes to be told what they can and can not do, some are just more rebellious than others. It is rebellion that keeps people from living by every Word of God and creates God into an image that suits their lifestyle. “And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” - Romans 1:23-25.

Let me tell you, living by every Word of God does not happen over night, it takes years and years, but as long as we make an effort God sees it and blesses us for it. We all have to admit that whenever we try to do things all on our own we make a mess of things, but that is why God sent Jesus to help us. He knows that they flesh can only do so much and if we truly want to live by every Word of God we need a guide. Through Jeremiah, God foretells the glorious day of the King Of Righteousness who would one day reign over all the earth, but first He has something to say to all the false preachers.

“Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD. And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” - Jeremiah 23:1-6.

Today, we have many shepherds, guides, preachers, and teachers, willing to stand by the truth and teach every Word of God. Our Good Shepherd and God's Word in the flesh is the Lord, Jesus Christ, He is THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. He alone brings justice and righteousness to all who believe in Him and one day all believers will reign under Him. Until Jesus returns we must keep learning and following every Word of God, and while we can debate over Bible versions the truth always comes out in the end. Those who live by every Word of God have the image of Christ shining through them, they are becoming Christlike, they are not easily offended, judge righteously, and are not afraid to stand by the truth no matter what the cost.

“Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” - II Corinthians 4:1-4.

Today's Prayer:
Dear God,
Thank You for Your Word, my guide to everything that is true and right. Lord, I know that I will not learn everything You have to tell me all at one, but as I keep reading Your Word You will reveal things to me day by day as I let My Lord, Jesus Christ work in and through me. I may not get it right all the time, but let me not forget that I serve the only living God and that Christ lives in me. He and He alone is my strength and guide to the truth and living by it. I Love You Lord, I love Your Word, and I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

By The Grace of God

Details of Today's Chapters: By the type of breaking an earthen vessel, Jeremiah is to predict the destruction of Judah, Jeremiah’s first persecution, his complaint to God and encouragement in God, Jeremiah's message to King Zedekiah, and Babylonian captivity is foretold.

Hello My Friend/Guest,

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain...But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me...Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain...But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” - I Corinthians 15:1,2,10,12,13,14,20-22.

It is by the grace of God that we believe in the Son of God, it is by the grace of God that a person's heart is opened and by faith, that person accepts the Gospel, the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and receives Christ into their soul. It is by the grace of God that we are who we are through the precious blood of Christ that runs through that soul. Many religions try to get people to doubt that there truly is eternal life through the Son,or that He was raised from the dead, but if Christ’s body lies in some nameless grave, there is no hope for the believer, the Gospel will have no purpose, and the death of Christ and God's Word itself would all be vain, worthless, and empty. We must realize that we need to live by every Word of God, every Word of God is the true, infallible (without error), and inherent (inseparable), Jesus Christ. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” - John 1:1,14.

When God set out to choose a nation that would represent Him His intentions were to show the rest of the world that there truly is a living God, that they were also created by the living God, and that a glorious and prosperous life can be obtained by believing in and following the only living God. His choice, Israel, twelve sons, twelve tribes. Of all the tribes, one stood out, that was the house of Judah, they were set apart from the rest, the godly tribe as you would call it. However, just like the strongest Christian call fall, so did the house of Judah, they went from being the most godliest tribe to the most wicked of all the tribes. God warned them time and time again to repent, but instead of turning from their wicked ways they embraced them even more, now, the time is coming, judgment will begin. God illustrates the fate of Judah through broken a clay bottle.

“Thus saith the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and take of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests;..And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle...Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee, And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury...Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.” - Jeremiah 19:1,3,10,11,15.

Clay, after it has been formed and hardened, can never be pieced again when it is broken and as the bottle was broken, so shall Judah and Jerusalem be broken by the Chaldeans. No human hand can repair it, but if they return to the Lord he will heal and protect them. Being saved might save a person from facing hell, but it does not save a person from God's chastening, He will chasten a person until they return to Him. “And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.” - Hebrews 12:5,6.

Now, sometimes, even when we living by every Word of God it seems as though we are being chastised, it is not a chastening per se, it is God trying our hearts, making sure we can handle the next trial that comes our way. Jeremiah faced persecution for the first time after preaching God's Word, it was not something he was accustomed to so it came as a bit of a shock. After complaining a bit Jeremiah realizes one thing, God is always with him.

“O LORD, thou hast deceived me, and I was deceived: thou art stronger than I, and hast prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocketh me. For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily. Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Peradventure he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him. But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten. But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me see thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause. Sing unto the LORD, praise ye the LORD: for he hath delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.” - Jeremiah 20:7-13.

While God places judgment upon the wicked He never forsakes those who come to Him through His Son, oh, He will try us, but by the grace of God it's only to strengthen us spiritually, mentally, and our dependance upon Him. Everything we go through, and I hate to admit it, but even the sinful things God allows is all permitted to bring us closer to Him and our dependance of Him alone. “And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” - Romans 8:27,28.

The Word of God is essential in life if we want to learn anything about God or communicate with Him, while anyone can tell you what He is trying to say, you still need His Word to back it up or interpret what He is actually implying. Now, the amazing thing about God's Word is that you can never read it once and it mean the same, what I mean by that is, God reveals things little by little as we read His Word consistently and continuously. Of course, we will never know everything that God has to say, but as long as we keep reading and studying all of His Word we will be stronger and by the grace of God able to handle everything that God tries us with as well as be able to withstand the temptations of Satan. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” - Ephesians 6:10-13.

Today's Prayer:
Dear God,
As I go about day to day life sometimes I get weary and lose sight of Your amazing grace. I am who I am because of Your grace, let me never forget all the sacrifices You made so that I not only get to enjoy eternal life in heaven, but life here on earth as well. I know everything I go through has a reason and purpose to it and one day You will reveal that to me. Until then, lead me and guide me as I read Your Word, learn the ways of Your Son, and walk in them. I love You Lord and ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

The Dried Up Christian

Details of Today's Chapters: An illustration of a linen girdle and bottles filled with wine, and the drought of the land of Israel.

Hello My Friend/Guest,

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” - Ii Corinthians 5:17-21.

The second a person asks Jesus Christ to save them they become a new person, the heart is not merely set right, but a new heart has been given to them, a heart filled with the blood of Christ. True believers are a workmanship of God Himself created through Jesus Christ as they allow Him to work in and through them. Christ, who knew no sin was sent to suffer all the sins of mankind so that we may be reconciled with God and seen righteous in His eyes. Now, we who are saved are ambassadors for Christ, authorized messengers, sent to show His love to then lost in hopes that they too will become reconciled with God.

When God says something He will do it, when He says that we will receive eternal life through His Son He means it. When He told the Jews that He would always be there for them and protect them if they followed His commands He meant it. Likewise, when He told them that He would let them fall should they forsake Him He meant it. God promised to always provide for all of their needs through their obedience, yet instead of obeying the covenant the majority of the people had forsaken Him to worship idols and false gods. Strangely, God illustrates their backsliding as an old worn out girdle, that he commanded Jeremiah to wear and bury in a far land.

“And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, Take the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy loins, and arise, go to Euphrates, and hide it there in a hole of the rock. So I went, and hid it by Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me. And it came to pass after many days, that the LORD said unto me, Arise, go to Euphrates, and take the girdle from thence, which I commanded thee to hide there. Then I went to Euphrates, and digged, and took the girdle from the place where I had hid it: and, behold, the girdle was marred, it was profitable for nothing...This evil people, which refuse to hear my words, which walk in the imagination of their heart, and walk after other gods, to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this girdle, which is good for nothing...And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.” - Jeremiah 13:3-7,10,14.

Jeremiah did whatever God commanded him to do, even if it did not seem to make sense, but like all things have a meaning and purpose to God so did this, the girdle represents the dried up Christian, the one who accepted Christ, but never did anything beyond that. The dried up Christian is unprofitable and serves no purpose for God and while God will not forsake them He will not have pity on them through their struggles nor stop the destruction of their worldly pursuits unless they repent. God provides us with everything we need and then some if we simply follow His commands, He will give us anything we want as long as we seek Him with all our heart. “Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” - Psalm 37:4.

The inhabitants of Judah were the chosen of the chosen people of God, and the kingdom that had access to Him above all other nations. God sent warning after warning for them to change their ways before it was too late, but they refused to listen and now they are suffering because of it. However, there were a few that did not follow after the rest of them and while they did have to endure some suffering God did not break His promise to them. Jeremiah assures the Jews that those who wait upon the Lord will receive His blessings

“O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do thou it for thy name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against thee. O the hope of Israel, the saviour thereof in time of trouble, why shouldest thou be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turneth aside to tarry for a night? Why shouldest thou be as a man astonied, as a mighty man that cannot save? yet thou, O LORD, art in the midst of us, and we are called by thy name; leave us not...We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee. Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us. Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.” - Jeremiah 14:7-9,20-22.

Unfortunately, since we live in a corrupt and wicked world we are going to have to deal with some suffering, but those who wait patiently on the Lord will always prosper. Many times God uses circumstances in our lives to keep us on the right track, to keep us from backsliding. It is so easy to backslide when we lose sight of God through our troubles, but those who put their trust in Him will never suffer too long and will always see the blessings just waiting for them as they get around that hurdle with God's guidance. By the way, since we carry around this flesh with us we are going to mess up sometimes, but there is no need to hide from God, you can't hide from Him, just tell Him you are sorry, He is an amazingly, merciful, forgiving God who just wants us to keep Him in our lives.

“Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy. But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him...Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” - James 5:11-15,19,20.

Today's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Jesus, help me to remain faithful to You and your calling upon my life. Strengthen and grow my faith as I daily search Your Scriptures and apply their truths to my spiritual walk. As I go through the trials and experiences of my earthly journey would You fix my eyes and my ever-wandering heart upon You. Search me, Lord and if there is any evil in me help me to break free from the bondage of it, repent and use my talents for Your glory. I ask this in Your name Jesus. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

False Prophets

Details of Today's Chapters: The message in the gate of the Lord’s house, the coming desolation of Jerusalem because of sin, and the vanity of trusting in anything, but God.

Hello My Friend/Guest,

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves...Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” -Matthew 7:13-15,21-23.

Jesus came here in the flesh to teach us not only which doctrine to believe, but what we are to do for God and man from it. There are only one of two paths to take, good or evil, right or wrong, heaven or hell, it's our choice, but the sad thing is that many false prophets will make people think they are living in truth, which makes that choice the wrong choice. The truth is unless we take that straight path that leads to Christ, no amount of good we do will matter, we will never get to heaven. Remember, salvation is given by grace not works.

This is not something new, salvation has always been given by faith alone, the sacrifices God required for their salvation was a foreshadow of the blood of Jesus Christ If it were not for Jesus we would still be offering up lambs and calves to be redeemed for our sins. False prophets are nothing new either, just as we are faced with false doctrine so were the Jews, through Jeremiah, God confronts those who have put their faith and trust in the false prophets.

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these. For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.” - Jeremiah 7:3-8.

False prophets still exist today, these are people that convince the lost and even the elect that they are somehow telling the truth. False prophets send many saved Christians into living wicked, sinful lives, worse yet, false prophets send many people to hell because they were not given the opportunity to know the truth. No profit comes from believing in and trusting these false prophets, the victims are the ones who end up getting burned and sadly end up in hell because they do not know what the truth is. I will say it again, ignorance does not save us, we all suffer the same fate whether we know of Christ or not, only those who have received Christ will be saved. “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” - Matthew 24:22-24.

Where do false prophets get their information? I wish I knew, but I believe that beside the fact that the devil is the instigator in it all, that rebellion is a good part of it. Many people want God's blessings and they want to do good things to get them, but they also have a hard time giving up the sin. Rather than make themselves feel convicted every time they commit the sin they justify it by making up their own set of rules and putting God's name on it. This is very dangerous and something God despises, through Jeremiah, God continues foretelling the fate of Jerusalem because of their refusal to repent, this time He foretells the fate of the false prophets.

“How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain. The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the LORD; and what wisdom is in them? Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.” - Jeremiah 8:8-12.

Why do you think there are so many different versions of the Bible? Here is your answer, wise men living in sin, willfully, rewriting Scripture in vain. Their fate along with Satan is to be cast down to hell and in the lake of fire, imagine all those false prophets having to face the ones they deceived in hell. I am so glad that I do not have to witness that. “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” - Revelation 20:10.

So, how do we keep from being deceived by false prophets? First, you must be saved, the Holy Spirit instructs us to the truth only when we are saved, have asked Jesus to save us. Second, get in God's Word, it is His Word alone that shows us His truth, unless we are reading it for ourselves we can not know the full truth. Third, get into a Bible believing church, that preaches the true Gospel, salvation by grace, and one that bases all it's doctrines from the Word of God. If you have done all these things you are on the right track and God will let you know if it is time to leave that church. “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.” - Hebrews 13:5-9.

Guess what, we are all human, we all make mistakes, we are not always going to agree with the person teaching God's word to us, but God's Word is infallible, meaning it is not written in vain, does not deceive, and does not change. Now, do not mistake conviction for false doctrine, God will put conviction upon all who are living in sin and He will often use preacher and teacher to do this. “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” - I Timothy 4:4-8.

Today's Prayer:
God,
Thank You for guiding me along the right path to Your Son, Jesus Christ. Of all the people in the world You chose me to be one of Yours and for that no words of gratitude can express my thanks to You. Lord, now that I know the truth, let me not get caught up in strange doctrines that would hinder my walk with You. I trust in You, Lord, let me not be put to confusion, but see clearly all that You are trying to tell and show me. I love You, Lord and ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
