Today's ChaptersJohn 1-3
Message TitleSeeing Is Believing

Hello My Friend,

The Book of John is the forty-third book of the Bible, the forth book of the Gospel of Christ and of the New Testament, and contains twenty-one chapters. The author of the book is John, a disciple of Jesus (not John the Baptist), and it was written to All believers, to whom John portrays Jesus as the Son of God. The timeline for these events took place approximately between 30 and 34AD. The purpose of the book was to show All that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and the only way to eternal life. What we are to learn from the book is Jesus is the Christ, the Saviour, and Son of the only living God, who is God in the flesh, and the only sourceto everlasting life. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - John 14:6.

Through the eyes
of man, John the Baptist would have been six months older than Jesus, as his mother, Elisabeth had conceived him six months before her cousin Mary, the mother of Jesus had been conceived of the Holy Spirit. Through the eyes of the sons of God, Jesus was, is, and always will be, not only the begotten Son of God, but God Himself in the flesh. John was inspired by God to reveal to us that Jesus has always been, and it's not by natural conception that one becomes a child of God, but by believing in the Son of God. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” - John 1:10-14,17.

Grace, anytime we are kind to others even when they are not kind to us, we are showing them grace. If God is as mean and cruel as the world claims Him to be than why are they not dead and in hell already? God's grace. God does have all the power to be the mean and cruel God that want Him to be, but that really is not what He is about. Do not confuse chastisement with judgment from rebellion. When God gave the Law, it was a foreshadow of Christ, it was the shedding of pure blood that was needed to redeem a soul that had broken the Law. Jesus' sacrificial death, the shedding of His own pure blood on the cross, replaced the need for constant redemption from the Law with God's grace. Now, all who believe in Christ, not only are redeemed, they become the sons (and daughters) of God as well. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” - Romans 8:14-17.

John the Baptist spent all of his ministry teaching about Christ, whom he called the Lamb of God, he baptized all who repented, turned away from their need to follow the Law in order to be saved, and turned to their belief in Christ. Jesus came to John to be baptized, and soon after His ministry began, He was not only making miracles happen, He was teaching, and correcting them through Scripture. This did not go well with he people that made their money by deceiving those who pretended to know Scripture.
Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said unto them,Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said. Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.” - John 2:18-25.

Man, those who harden their hearts to the truths of God, they have no problem using Him as a vice to make themselves rich. But never underestimate a person's reasoning for hating God or trying to prove that He does not exist, it's usually anger, pride, or sin that takes a person from knowing of God, to trying to destroy everything about Him, including His Son. “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.” - Romans 1:20-23.

All the time that John had preached about Jesus and repentance, he too had skeptics, now, that Jesus was known, it didn't take long for them to question John about his ministry. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” - John 3:27,28,31-36.

Man cannot see beyond their eyes, they have the attitude that if they cannot see it it does not exist. As much as I love to find out how things work, there are some things that are left simply to faith. For instance, everyone learns that once a woman conceives it takes nine months for the child to fully develop, amazingly, through science, we can see how a baby develops inside the womb. What we cannot see is the miracle of how it grows, the organs, the bones, no amount of science can explain this phenomenon. If we can't believe that a life begins at conception, how can we believe in a life that can be raised from the dead? While God would love for all to be saved, He knows some will never believe, He will not waste His time trying to convince them. “
If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.” - Ecclesiastes 11:3-5.

Today's PrayerGod, It is often said that seeing is believing, well, I for one know that to be true, but not as the world would see, but as You would see. I may not have seen Your Son in person the day I believed in Him, but I have seen what Your Son has done in my life since making Him a part of it. Just like the miracle of birth, You created another miracle in my spiritual birth, and while I may not always understand Your ways, I do understand that You love us so much, that Your only option to save us was to give Your own through Your Son. Today, I do not want to ask You for anything, I just to thank You and praise You for being my God, my Father, and my Saviour. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

Replacing Doubt With Trust

Today's ChaptersLuke 23-24
Message TitleReplacing Doubt With Trust

Hello My Friend,

Of all the years since I have dedicated my life to my Lord, Jesus Christ I have not seen any more trying on my faith than this one. I look at all the directions that I can go, and can honestly say that I do not want to go in any direction than one in which I am led by Christ. I cannot imagine doing some of the things I once did before He took up permanent residence in my life, yet it has been a struggle every day to get up and do what He calls me to do. I admit that one of the reasons why I am struggling this year is because I am dealing with a lot of setbacks, and no matter what I try to do I seem to keep going further back rather than forward. This has got me thinking, as Christians, we have no problem trusting Jesus in saving our soul, but how often do we trust Him completely beyond our salvation? If it seems like you are stuck in a rut, even while Christ is in your life, perhaps it's time to take a look at your heart. Are you trusting Christ or your circumstances? “For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.” - 1 John 3:20-22.

Part of trusting Jesus with all of our circumstances is of course, knowing for sure that we are saved. If there are any doubts, perhaps it's time to be reminded of what Jesus did for us in order to save us, and what we are trusting in that saved us. The time had come, Jesus was arrested, and after being tried three times and no fault had been proven to sentence Him to death, Pilate gave into the crowd and gave Him over to be crucified. They arrive at Calvary, where He and two other men were being crucified. They mocked Him, tempted Him, and even placed bets on Him, yet through it all, He asks for their forgiveness.

And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.” - Luke 23:33-35,39-43,46.

Did you ever notice how dedicated people are to their false religions, regardless of what cause they believe in? If you believe in something you are going to fight for it, even if it is completely wrong. These people thought they were doing the right thing because of their religion, and that is why Jesus sought their forgiveness, but that does not excuse them from ending up in hell if they refuse to accept Him as their Saviour. If we want to see God do some amazing things in our lives, perhaps it's time that we have that kind of dedication in our faith in Christ as these people do in their false religions. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” - Hebrews 11:6.

Sometimes, it's not always doubting God that hinders Him from blessing us through our circumstances, it's that through the circumstances we forget His promises. Jesus promised that while He was going to die, He would also rise three days later. Now, it is the third day, some women came to the tomb to anoint Jesus with the typical spices used for embalming a body. They got the surprise of their lives when His body was not there. Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,” - Luke 24:1-6.

Many times we do forget His promises amidst grief, pain, or sorrow, that's when we need to remember that Jesus is still alive, right there among each and every one of His believers. Even Peter ran to the tomb after being told and could not believe what he saw, he gathered all the disciples, distraught and confused they try to figure out what happened to Jesus body. Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulchre; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass. And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. And he said unto them, What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad? And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory? And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.” - Luke 24:12,15-19,25,26,30,31.

Pretty sad huh? Jesus is right there with them, but because they were all wrapped up in their emotions they could not see that it was Him. The same thing happens to us when we get wrapped up in our emotions, in fact, it is our emotions that cause us to forget that God is already blessing us through our circumstances. While it was easy for me to sit here and wallow in my sorrows over things I cannot control, it was much harder to see all that God is doing already because I was blinded by those sorrows. God has much to reveal to us, but we must first learn to trust Him, even when we cannot see His blessings. The more we replace our doubts with trust, the more we will see His working in our lives, and eventually even bless us with the things we long for most. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.” - 1 John 5:14,15.

Today's PrayerFather, You know the desires of my heart, and while I know that all things are possible with You, I often let my circumstances blind me from that truth. Lord, increase my trust in You, let me no longer be blinded by the things I do not have to keep me from seeing all that I do have. Give me Your power to overcome all my emotions, the pains, the sorrows, and the obstacles I create in the midst of my circumstances. Give me Your grace to keep going, even when I do not see You, trusting that with You all things are possible. Oh, and please let me not ask You for anything that is not in You will for me, I know that all I will be doing is setting myself up for disappointment in doing so. Keep me in Your Word and will to know what You want for my life, and let me never forget all the Jesus did for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

The Signs Of The Times

DateThursday, October 30, 2014
Today's ChaptersLuke 21-22
Message TitleThe Signs Of The Times

Hello My Friend,

I made a comment one day about signs that Jesus could be here within the next twenty years, I got replies not to assume. Now, I do not know when Jesus will return, nor do I assume to know, but I do know that we cannot ignore the fact that He will return, and with things going as they are today, that's not going to be too long from nowYou do not hear it because the world does not want you to know, but hundreds of thousands of Christians are being killed every day, there have been more Christians killed this year alone than ever before. So many people live in fear of that day coming, they try to ignore the signs of the times, but we must not be afraid, we must tell people the truth, and pray to God that many will open their hearts to Jesus before it's too late.We are going to face persecution for our faith, and for telling people about Jesus, but we must not be afraid because Jesus is with us. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish.” - Luke 21:16-18.

As Jesus watches a bunch of rich men put money, gold, and jewels in the offering box at the temple, He speaks to His disciples about a poor woman, giving what would amount to less that half a cent as being more acceptable to God. As He talks about the beautiful temple being destroyed, the disciples begin to wonder when that will be.

And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” - Luke 21:7-9,14,15,25-28.

While every generation has had their share of signs that Jesus is returning soon, this generation is showing more signs than any. Those who know Christ have no problem understanding that much of the violence, poverty, and natural disasters of today are signs of His return. We may not know what day Jesus will return, but we do know that we are one day closer. Keep in mind that God does not want us to live in fear of that day coming, He wants us to live, not a crazy, immoral life, but one of meaning and direction under Him. Our obedience to God is what draws others near Him. “Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” - James 5:19,20.

Just like believers know the truth, so do many unbelievers, and they will do anything to try to discredit God and stop the truth from happening. Little do they know that they are playing right into the hands of God, even the devil himself. God would use the unbelief of one of Jesus' own disciples to fulfill the prophecy of His capture. “Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people. Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve. And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.” - Luke 2:1-6.

Today, the Judas Iscariot's of this world are atheists, who do everything and anything to try and discredit God, they even formed their own groups set on destroying those who put their faith in God. All over the world people are being terrorized and shot on sight or their faith in Christ, and while we may not have gunmen shooting us down for our faith, we are being terrorized by these groups through the media, social groups, and even our government. People will never stop trying to stop Christ, but we can be a vise for Him to show people the truth. “No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:” - 2 Timothy 2:4,9-11.

Jesus knew that the time was near that He should be betrayed, before everything came to pass He wanted one last meal with the disciples, pointing out that He knew who was going to betray Him. “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed! And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” - Luke 22:19-23,31,32.

God always wins, when He says something will happen, it will happen, and He will use anyone for His purpose, that includes the people that the devil uses to try and change that fate. God has given us all free will, that means we have a choice, we can believe in Christ and be used as a testimony to reach the lost or we cannot believe and still be used to reach the lost by bringing those signs of the times to pass. By the way, shortly after Judas betrayed Jesus, he hung himself, knowing fully well that he was used to bring His death to pass. All will bow to Christ one day, and those who were set on destroying Him will pay the price, even before they leave the earth. “For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” - Luke 21:22,33-36.

Today's PrayerJesus, While I do not know the hour in which You will return, I do know thatYou are coming and I want to be prepared. Lord, lead me not into temptations or worldly pursuits that take my eyes off of You. Help me to be a watchful and sober at all times and to be a witness to others so they too can know that You will save them if they only believe in You. I love You Lord, and pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

Be Justified Freely

 DateWednesday, October 29, 2014
Today's ChaptersLuke 19-20
Message TitleBe Justified Freely

Hello My Friend,

The word sin is defined as a transgression, an illegal, abusive, or immoral action, most people understand sin to be something like adultery or committing a crime, but sin is more than that, it is any thought, word spoken, or action that is wicked, immoral or corrupting. For instance, while it is not a sin to be angry, it is a sin to act upon that anger in a vengeful way. While it is not a sin to look at a person, it is a sin to think of them in a lustful way. While it is not a sin to feel good about doing great work, it is a sin to be so proud that we get a big head about itNo one is without sin, but we can be free from the burdens of our sin, that freedom only comes from Jesus Christ. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” - Romans 3:23,24.

Jesus heads to Jerusalem, on the way He passes through Jericho where He meets with a wealthy man named Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus, and his family gladly accepted Jesus, this did not go well with the Pharisees who, hated Zacchaeus because they thought he was a cheat. Hearing them grumble about expecting the Kingdom of God to just appear, Jesus speaks a parable about a nobleman that was receiving a kingdom. He was despised by the people, and went on a journey, he entrusted some with his money to see what they would do with it.

And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading. Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds. And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities. And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow. And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds. For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.” - Luke 19:15-17,20-22,24,26.

The nobleman represents Jesus, the money represents the Gospel, those who believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and receive Him as their Saviour become part of His Kingdom. The more they do for Him after they are saved to spread the Gospel to others, the more they will receive in His Kingdom. Those who hear the Gospel, and never accept it themselves forfeit their opportunity to see the Kingdom, and it will be taken away from them. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” - Matthew 25:31-34,41,46.

Jesus arrives in Jerusalem and begins preaching in the temple, once again being questioned for His actions. And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and preached the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. And they answered, that they could not tell whence it was. And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.” - Luke 20:1-8.

If you know Jesus and He is a big part of your life than you are always going to have someone trying to debate you, that is why it is important that we guard ourselves under the Word of God. The Sadducee's did not believe in resurrection, determined to debate Jesus, they ask Him a question about the resurrection. Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him, Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children. Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.” - Luke 20:27-29,33-38.

Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are all living souls living in heaven with Jesus, and with every family member, friend, acquaintance, and even foe that personally accepted Jesus Christ as their SaviourWe are going to get a big surprise the day God comes to take us home, we are going to see some people we thought would never be there, and sadly, not see some that we thought would. It does not matter who we are, where we came from, or how much we have sinned, the same punishment for sin is given to all, but all who accept Christ as their Saviour are alive, and not only that, they are the children of the only living God. “And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.” - Romans 9:26. Praise God!

Today's Prayer: God, I boldly declare that You are the living God whom I serve. Only a God like You can turn evil into good, exchange sorrow for joy, or offer life beyond the grave. May I boldly proclaim You to be the Lord and Saviour of my life and tell of all Your wondrous works. I join in with the rest of Your children in asking that whenever I open my mouth, Your words may be given to me so that I will make known the mystery of the Gospel to those who have not yet heard or understood its meaning for their lives. In Jesus' name. Amen.
od Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
