The Free Will To Choose

DateSaturday, January 03, 2015
Today's ChaptersGenesis 7-9
Message TitleThe Free Will To Choose

Hello My Friend,

Sometimes we see things happening in the world, and even the most knowledgeable Christian of the Bible can wonder how God allows some of the most horrific things to happen. In reality, it's not God who allows these things, it's society, and their corrupt views on what is right in their eyes. Corrupt politicians, religious fakes, and wicked leaders are quick to feed on the emotions of those who are grieving, broken hearted, or dependent on something in an attempt to get them away from the heart of the matter, sin. Why would they tell you that what you are doing is wrong when they make money off of your emotions? There is always a price for sin, even if you have no idea that what you are doing is wrong, that's what free will is, and God will never mess with free will. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.” - Romans 1:21-25.

Just as God commanded, Noah, his sons, and their wives built the ark that would save all who entered from the flood. In a time when rain was not even heard of, God was about to show His anger toward the millions of people on the earth who cared less about God. “
And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.” - Genesis 7:1-7.

Just as God does not mess with our free will, He did not mess with theirs either, they had the choice, get on the boat, they refused and sadly, all except for eight souls, and the animals that were in there had been destroyed.
And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.” - Genesis 7:21-24.

You can call God mean and cruel for allowing this to happen, but they chose which path to follow, and just like we cannot control a persons free will, neither can God. Do you think that Noah did not encourage the others to get on that ship, especially when it started to rain? I imagine he did, and what did they choose to do, find shelter elsewhere instead of the one and only person who could save them. Of course, God is going to guide every soul He creates in an attempt to show them His Son, but He will never force Himself, His Son, or any of His commands upon anyone, we must willingly come to Him. “
He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” - Revelation 21:7,8.

Speaking of second death, all those people who died in the flood get to resurrect from their torment in hell to be cast into the lake of fire for the second death. One year after the rain began and the flood destroyed the earth, land was dry, and life was sustainable once again. God commands Noah and his family to come out of the ark and begin living on earth once again, He also has a promise. “
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. And God spake unto Noah, saying, Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee. Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” - Genesis 8:1,5,15-17,20,21.

An altar is a place to worship,
this would be the first time an animal would be sacrificed and offered up to God in worship to Him, and that the people would eat animal flesh. Noah, willingly built and altar to God, just to worship Him, He may not have understood what had happened, or even what life would be like anymore, but He did understand that it was by God's mercy and grace that he and his family were alive. When everything seems to be falling apart and you cannot even find the strength to pray, that is when you need to come to the altar of God, and give yourself completely to HimWe may not always understand His ways, but we can understand that His grace is sufficient enough to help us through even the most horrifying circumstances. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.” - Romans 12:1-3.

Today's Prayer: God, In a world full of doubt and fear, turn my eyes upon You, and let me see that all things are truly possible when I look to You. Lord, give me Your power, strength, and courage to keep living according to Your will for me, and not give up on Your promises. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

Every Life Is Precious

DateFriday, January 02, 2015
Today's ChaptersGenesis 4-6
Message TitleEvery Life Is Precious

Hello My Friend,

Life, it's a precious thing, and no matter what the circumstance, every life created by God is precious, and should never be regarded as something wicked, evil, of misfortune, or mistaken. Every child conceived has a place in this world, it is a gift from God, and could be used to bring God's glory out of any situation, but sadly many lives are ended before they even begin. Until we learn that God made each and every one if us for a special reason, and see our own lives as something precious, we are not going to see how precious every life is. “For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.” - Psalm 139”13-16.

First, in order to see how precious life is, we must think outside the box, in other words, hav
e respect for every life, including our own. We know that all people began with two people, Adam and Eve, to see it in our own eyes we would think of this as something disgusting and incestuous, but in God's eyes, it'sprecious, His creation. In the beginning, they were not thought of as brothers and sisters, God merely used a man and a woman to create another soul. While Adam and Eve had many children, only a few are mentioned, beginning with Cain and Abel. Cain was a farmer, he harvested crops, while Able was a cattle rancher, and took care of the cattle and sheep. “And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him” - Genesis 4:3-8.

Why God chooses who He decides to create a life through and where He places us is a mystery, but every life is precious, and those who disregard life, even their own will have God to answer to. God did not end Cains life, instead, He chose to make him suffer by sustaining it, cursing him to be a fugitive and wanderer for the rest of his life, because everyone wanted to kill him. The reason why God did not respect his offering in the first place was because He had no regard for the life he had been given,
his offering had to have been pretty awful for God to refuse it. All he had to do was repent and God would have forgiven him, but he chose to take the life of the one that was living for God rather than do what was right. The truth is, many want the blessings from God that comes from living for Him, but few are willing to do what is necessary to get His respect. Those who choose to live for God, regardless of what life they were given will receive the greatest respect from God. The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.” - Proverbs 11:17-20.

Cain beg
an the genealogy of what was known as the sons of man. The genealogy of Adam, however, continued through Adam and Eve's third known son, Seth, known as the sons of God. This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed. And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.” - Genesis 5:1-3,28-32.

Seth became the seed that would extend life on earth, his descendants went all the way down to Noah, and it would be through Noah's seed that the lineage of the seed where Jesus would come in the flesh would come from. Life is so precious to God, that He will sustain life through one soul, while He desires every soul to love Him as He loves them, many will disregard Him, but as long as He has one willing soul to love Him, He will sustain life. “
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” - John 3:16-19.

While all life is precious, God will only give it a short amount of time to acknowledge that before He takes that life. The more people that disregard Him, the more His wrath kindles, and before you know it, judgment comes, not only to one life, but all. When the sons of God began having children with the sons of man, very few regarded their lives, in fact, they were down right disgusting in the eyes of God. There was so much wickedness and immorality in the world that He repented for having made life on earth. He was so disappointed and angry that He chose to destroy the entire earth. However, He did find one man, Noah, who was not like the rest, and He chose that soul, along with his three sons and their wives to sustain life.

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” - Genesis 6:4-8,13.

God repents too, meaning to feel deep regret for something you have done, God regretted that He even created man and wanted to destroy them all. As wicked and immoral as the world is today, I can only imagine how bad it had to be that God wanted to destroy the entire earth. Let me tell you, God's wrath is kindling once again, and He will destroy every soul that does not have His grace. What is God's grace? Jesus Christ. Our naturally born sin nature cannot sustain life, in fact, if brings death, and no matter how much we try to ignore or bury sin, it will always destroy us until we acknowledge it, deal with it, and repent of it. Jesus is the only one, who can sustain a soul, and keep it from the greatest punishment given to every soul, death and hell. “
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” - Romans 3:10-12,23,24.

Today's Prayer: God, Thank You for giving me life, and for the life that You have given me. While I do not always understand the trials and obstacles that You place before me as I walk the path You have chosen for me, I do understand that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, and that I am Your precious child. I do want to live my life to please You, I want to value my life by living it guiding by Your Word, and walking side by side with Your Son. Lord, give me Your power to love life, no matter where You place me, and give me the strength to sustain life by being a witness and testimony of how living a moral and just life leads to Your Son. In the prescious name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina

It Was Good

Today's ChaptersGenesis 1-3
Message TitleIt Was Good

Hello My Friend,

The Book of Genesis, which means beginnings, is the first book of the Old Testament and Bible, and it contains fifty chapters. The inspired author of the book is Moses, and the timeline for these events took place approximately between 4004 BC and 1689 BC. The purpose of the book was to preserve the historical background of Israel and record the beginning of creation, sin, redemption, and God's dealings with man. What we are to learn from the book is that God is the creator of all things, and His plan from the beginning included all nations, not just Israel. “And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;” - Genesis 26:4.

Over six thousand and twenty years ago God did something truly amazing, He created the heavens and earth, and everything on it. Every creature, plant, and tree made was made of it's own kind, meaning He made different breeds of cows, but they were
all cattle and stayed cattle. After He created light, the sun, the earth, the grass, and everything in between, He made man,and He saw that it was good. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” - Genesis 1:1,25-28.

There is much speculation over the age of the earth, many people take out of context what God says about one year being as a thousand, but one day has always been twenty-four hours. In six twenty-four hour days, God created everything and by the way, everything that was made was made from something that God has made. We can deny the truth and listen to all the false claims by God hating scientists who try to do everything possible to discredit Him, or we can listen to God, and trust in His Word to show us the truth. Many things in the heavens and earth cannot be explained, but one thing can, life. Life is not by chance, it's a blessing, something precious, and to bring yourself down to a level that you are merely made of some type of goo is just an insult. Value your life, and every life as if it were your own, God does. “
For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!” - Psalm 139:13-15,17.

God explains how He created man, And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” - Genesis 2:7-9,15-18.

God breathed into the nostrils of a lifeless mold of dust and in an instant a living soul was given to man. The tree of knowledge of good and evil, one can wonder why God placed something that was forbidden in the midst of paradise in the first place, but think about this. We must have boundaries, God saw that everything He made was good, but that does not mean that it is necessarily good for us. Some people are allergic to certain foods, and if they eat them they will surely die, that does not mean that it was not something good that God created, it means their bodies cannot handle it. This is the same reason why God did not want them to eat of the fruit of the tree of good and evil, their bodies would not be able to handle it. God does not place restrictions on us to keep us from living life, He gives them so we can live the best life without the needless suffering. “
Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart. Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.” - Proverbs 7:2-5.

While Adam was doing his thing on earth, something else was going on in heaven, a war between good and evil. One of the archangels, Lucifer, wanted to be above God, so, he gathered some followers and the battle. To end the battle in heaven, God cast Lucifer to the earth, but the battle was not over, Lucifer made his way into the garden, and found Eve looking over at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” - Genesis 3:1-6.

That one act of disobedience seems like nothing to us, but it was something to God, it not only caused them to die spiritually, it cause that death to be passed down to all of us. God was not talking about a physical death here, He was talking about taking His life out of that living soul, meaning He removed His Spirit from their soul, and ours too. Why? God saw the sin nature of all of His creation, and He couldn't bare to keep His Spirit upon one soul that sinned. Now, we are all sinners, every one of us can fall into temptation, just like Adam and Eve did, we can blame them, hate God for even allowing it all in the first place, or we can be responsible and admit that everything that God made is good, but not always good for us. We have a choice, and by the way, God knew what was going to happen, He already prepared a way for a soul to receive His Spirit, and that way is Jesus Christ. “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” - 1 John 5:13.

You can learn more about Lucifer, also known as Satan, by reading the books of Ezekiel and Revelation.

Today's Prayer: God, Thank You for endings and new beginnings, for the hope of eternal life and giving us Your truths to live by. Without You all is dark and void, but with You we can see the Light and a great year ahead. Lord, watch over us, guide us, and help us walk in the Light throughout 2015, give us peace, comfort, and hope for a great and prosperous year. Remind us how fortunate we are and never let us forget that we are fearfully and wonderfully made just the way You made us. In Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
