Message Title:
God's Plan From The Beginning
Hello
My Friend,
I have been watching this old TV program,
everyone from government officials to criminals fighting over money
and power. It got me thinking how fast a person would turn on you
given the right motivation and circumstances. Do not think that
someone who has wronged you did it on impulse, it was a long, thought
out plan. In fact, most criminal and psychotic acts are well planned
out, sometimes for years before executed. Not only do the wicked plan
things, so do the righteous. When God created the heavens and earth
He had a plan from the beginning, of course, He knew what was going
to happen the second He created the angels and man, but went through
with it anyway. Why? To separate those who truly believe and want to
worship Him from those who do not.
“When
the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with
him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him
shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from
another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he
shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed
of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world: Then shall he say also unto them on the left
hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for
the devil and his angels:” - Matthew
25:31-34,41.
“prepared for the
devil and his angels:” Yep, hell was originally created for
the devil and his angels. Did you ever wonder how sin got started and
passed down to all of us? It began in heaven with the devil. God
created the earth in six days all was well in the world, that was
until Eve got tempted by the devil, bringing sin and death to all of
us. There was a battle in heaven, a war like no other. John has been
seeing visions that foretell what will happen just before, during,
and after Christ returns, but this time he sees exactly how it all
began.
“And there appeared
another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven
heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And there was
war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and
the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was
their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast
out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth
the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were
cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is
come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the
power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down,
which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame
him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and
they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, ye
heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the
earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having
great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
- Revelation 12:3,7-12.
“And the
great dragon was cast out,” The devil, also known as
archangel Lucifer, turned on God as he wanted to be more powerful
than Him. When he was cast out of heaven he devised a plan to destroy
God's most precious creation. God knew the devil would bring sin and
death to man, but He also had a plan to save them the second Adam and
Eve bit into that forbidden fruit. “And I
will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and
her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”
- Genesis 3:15. God gives them hope concerning Christ, who would put
an end to the enmity (hatred) between God and man. One, He would be
the seed of the woman. Two, His suffering and death would allow the
devil to bring suffering upon us, but His victory by resurrecting
would bring suffering upon the devil, bringing redemption and eternal
life to all who believe. “For if by one man's
offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance
of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one,
Jesus Christ.)” - Romans 5:17.
The devil probably
did not realize the extent of God's plan when He said he would suffer
through the womans seed, but when Christ resurrected He knew his fate
and he is going to try everything to prolong his life and take as
many souls with him as he can.
“And
I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly
wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. And
they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they
worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able
to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking
great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to
continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy
against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that
dwell in heaven. And it was given unto him to make war with the
saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all
kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth
shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of
the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. And the dragon was
wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her
seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of
Jesus Christ.” - Revelation 13:3-8,17.
“and
all the world wondered after the beast.” Just as everyone
has a plan, so does the devil, and he will take millions of people
with him by deceiving them. Does he care that he is sending
multitudes to a pitch dark, lake of fiery torment? No, he wants all
of God's creation to suffer. While the devil certainly cannot create
life, he can take a life that God has created and use it for evil.
Jesus reveals to John who the devil will use to get his revenge
before his life ends. He is going to get it by using an evil, and
just as God has marked the foreheads of those who are His, this beast
will mark the foreheads of those who are his, and they too will
suffer with the devil.
“And I saw
another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting
gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every
nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud
voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment
is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea,
and the fountains of waters. And there followed another angel,
saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she
made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any
man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his
forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the
wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:”
- Revelation 14:6-10.
“Fear God,
and give glory to him;” While we cannot know the hour that
any of this will take place, we can be ready, and we can be part of
God's plan. The only way we can do this is by putting on the full
armor of God. Only those who have the full armor of God can be strong
enough to know the truth from the lies and follow God's plan for our
lives. “Put on the whole armour of God, that
ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand.” - Ephesians 6:11-13.
Praise God!
Today's Prayer:
God, Thank You for giving us a heads up and explanation of all the
scary and wicked things that are coming to pass. We can never know
the hour in which Your Son returns, but we can be prepared and ready
for that day. Lord, lead us and guide us, keep us in Your Word, put
Your armor upon us to keep us from being tempted of the devil. Let us
be strong, and never forget Your precious promise to save those with
mark of Your Son's blood upon them. We can do little on our own, but
can do all things through Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.
God
Bless You, I am praying for you,
Christina
